About me

I'm Alex, a sound engineer with over six years of experience in audio post-production, specializing in voiceover-based material, audio restoration, editing, multitrack mixing, mastering, and music supervision. My work spans TV, radio, and web advertising, podcasts, audiobooks, and sound for corporate visual media.

I'm an Avid-Certified Pro Tools Operator and fluent in several DAWs. I've been formally trained on SSL 4040 G+ and Neve VR Legend consoles at the renowned Windmill Lane Recording Studios, and hold a First-Class Honours BA in Audio and Music Technology from Griffith College Dublin and an MA in Music Business from New York University.

My academic and research interests include digital audio, streaming economics and DSP payout models, music catalog acquisitions and IP monetization, sync licensing trends, and metadata and rights administration.

In my spare time, I'm also a music technologist, songwriter, music collector, and a lifelong learner. I'm a huge soccer fan, and I love pizza, the seaside, and bicycles.
